About.
Suzanne is a certified coach and trainer, making her home in Austin, TX. She is an ordinary person trying to live an extraordinary life. Her mission is to help others learn different tools and techniques so they too can live an extraordinary life!
Born in Ohio, she moved to Texas at a young age and has lived here most of her life. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Psychology from Austin College in Sherman, TX. She went on to get a Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Growing up, she always took to the outdoors when confronted with stress or studying for exams. She found much joy in a slow jog or hike. Suzanne decided to leave her 10 year career as an auditor for the City of Austin to stay home and raise her 4 children. Looking for a broader purpose outside her family, she decided to help others learn how to enjoy being active. She started with teaching indoor cycle classes at the YMCA, and went on to become a personal trainer, a swim team coach, and a triathlon coach. No matter the class or the activity, Suzanne always looks for ways to build community and help others not only become more fit physically but also mentally and emotionally healthy. For the past 10 years, Suzanne has immersed herself in learning about nutrition, body performance, mindset, body functions, and anything she can find related to Health and Wellness. She has completed numerous triathlons including 5 Ironman Triathlons, competed in the world championships for Aquabike, and recently taken up trail running and the occasional mountain biking. More importantly, she finds time every day to stay active, get out of the house, and simply focus on her well-being. She created Stellar Mind & Body as a company to provide a way to channel her knowledge, experience, and passion to help those around her. |
